User Interface Engineer

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Human Factors, Human Interface Design, Graphic Design preferred but all candidates with corresponding work experience will be considered 
• Expert HTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript skills
• Experience with web graphic creation and optimization (should be proficient using PhotoShop, Image Ready, Illustrator)
• Good knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform implementation techniques 

Distinguishing Factors:

• Experience with Ajax
• Good understanding of web application development with Java and the Servlet and JSP specifications
• Experience with Java presentation frameworks such as Spring, JSF, Seam, and Struts is a big plus
• Experience with Flash and Flex
• Comfortable with version control, development process, bug tracking, coding standards and other aspects of the standard software development lifecycle
• Demonstrable experience with 2 or more JavaScript frameworks (Prototype, Scriptaculous, Dojo, Yahoo! UI Utilities, ext, OpenRico, jQuery, CSSQuery, Other DOM Query APIs, Backbase)
• Software development experience
• Understanding of Object Oriented design and development
